Blue for a Boy
Top: Gift
Shorts: New Look
Socks: Topshop
Shoes: JuJu Jellies
Congratulations to Kate & Wills on the new addition to their family! As a lover of the royals, I've been glued to the TV for almost the entirety of the last 2 days. To celebrate in my own fashion-loving way, I decided to wear a 'themed' outfit for the day. Originally I planned on red, white and blue, but I decided to go for something a bit more subtle and ditched the red in favour of just white and blue. Blue for a boy, no?
I have been lusting after a pair of Juju jelly shoes since I saw my beautiful friend Leila sporting a pair in her post here, and after a week of searching for shoes on Menorca (an island famed for shoes) and returning home fruitless, I decided to treat myself to a pair of Juju 'Babe' shoes. I couldn't be happier with them; they're flattering, comfy and quirky and the colour I picked (nude) is gorgeous. But if you fancy a pair, one thing: don't type 'Juju Babe Nude' into eBay - you get some, er, interesting results!
What do you think of jellies? Are they your thing or do you think they should have stayed in the past? Would you like a pair?
Thanks for reading!

Girls' Night Out
Top (Actually a dress): Zara
Jacket: New Look
Skirt: Topshop
Tights: eBay
Bag: Vintage
Necklace: H&M
I'm in the stars! Why? Because my room is a mess, to tell you the truth. This post is scheduled to go live while I'm on holiday, but I actually took these pictures a few days before I left, so I had clothes strewn everywhere. Packing is not fun!
It was my school's 'prom' the day I took these, but I didn't go. I met up with my best friends and we went for a nice meal out instead. Just as much fun for half the price! We went to a nice little Italian on the seafront~
The top I'm wearing is actually a dress with a mesh, spotty section on the top. Since the dress is quite fitted, I thought it would be a bit OTT, so I dressed it down with my favourite skirt and, of course, a pink jacket and bag!
That's all for now, hope you enjoyed! I'll have some pictures up from my holiday when I get back!

Vintage Jumper & Other Finds
Jumper: Vintage
Blouse: Miss Selfridge
Skirt: Topshop
I picked this jumper up from a vintage store in Brighton a couple of weeks ago. I've been wanting a mustard-coloured piece for a while and although it's not actually mustard, it's very close (the pictures wash the colour out quite a bit). It's also quite similar to a vintage piece seen here which I love. I decided to pair it with a simple white blouse and my trusty denim skirt for a girly feel.
I also picked up some other vintage finds from the flea market in Lewes (I mentioned it here) a couple of weeks ago:
I think I am in love with this bag, which is probably illegal on every level but hey. It looks really yellow in the picture but it's actually a lovely pale pink colour, and I think it's very reminiscent of the 1920s and 30s. It's gorgeous!
The last thing I got was this holographic Peter Pan...thing? I'm not really sure what it is, but it has a hologram of Tinkerbell as she 'tumbles with a shower of pixie dust'. As you're probably aware if you saw my 'Feelings of Nostalgia' post, I've been yearning for all my favourite Disney movies recently, so I saw this and just had to buy it. It turns out the film came out exactly 60 years ago!
That's all for now, hope you enjoyed!

Korean Cosmetics Mini-Haul!
Hey everyone! Yet another post, I hadn't planned on doing one so soon but my parcel arrived from kpoptown with all my lovely new cosmetics in!
(PS sorry for bad quality photos - my mum has my camera today!)
The first item I got is the Etude House Dear My Blooming Lips-talk (odd name, I know) in OR206. It is really orange. Really orange. It's quite nice though, and the packaging is adorable. The texture is nice and it looks really nice when it's on. It does bleed after a while, but overall it's a good little product.
The second item I got was the Etude House Dear Darling Tint in Berry Red. It's like jelly! It smells like bubble gum too. This is a nice deep pinkish colour, but it tends to settle around the edge of your lips and it takes a couple of applications to get an even colour. I'm pretty neutral about this one, I'll use it more and see what I think of it then.
The last item I got is the Skinfood Green Tea Milk Cleansing Gel. I've been using a Guinot cleanser for a while and it's good but I don't really like the consistency so I wanted to try something new. I'm well aware of the benefits of green tea so I'm hoping this will be nice. If it gets this awful mascara off, then it will earn my seal of approval!
That's all for now, I hope you enjoyed!

Feelings of Nostalgia
Recently I've been feeling very nostalgic for childhood films. I don't really know why, but I have been finding myself looking for jewelry with themes from some of my favourite childhood films. I should be tidying my bedroom as I write this, but after an encounter with a very big spider I have decided that I will not be going back in there any time soon. I may well sleep in the living room tonight!
Since I've been on one of my irresponsible spending sprees and I have next to no money, the only way for me to satisfy this longing is to put together some outfits inspired by four of my favourite childhood films.
Litas: Nastygal / Rings: Etsy / Skirt: eBay / T-shirt: eBay |
Socks: eBay / Necklace: Etsy / Dress: eBay / Ring: Etsy / Shoes: Clarks |
Bracelet: Etsy / Pendant: Etsy / Shoes: Topshop / Skirt: eBay / Blouse: Topshop |
Jewel necklace: Etsy / Anchor necklace: Etsy / Leggings: eBay / Top: eBay / Belt: eBay / Boots: Topshop |
Which of these is your favourite? I think I like The Little Mermaid the best!

Beauty Wishlist: June 2013
Hello!
I haven't done a beauty post in a while, and after spending some time on the beautiful Hareem's blog I've amassed quite a wishlist!
Bourjois Little Round Pot Intense - Rose Sabel
This colour looks absolutely stunning. I saw this on Hareem's blog and I just thought the colour was gorgeous. Pink eyeshadow is probably my favourite since it's so soft and versatile, and this shade has some shimmer it would brighten the eyes and work day and night. Beautiful!
L'Oreal Color Riche Nail - Soft Chinchilla
Now that I have finally kicked the habit of biting my nails and they are growing well, my interest in nail polish and nail art has increased greatly. This warm greyish colour is so elegant and simple, and since it's a neutral it would go with most things. It would be lovely for autumn and winter, and I'm pleasantly surprised by the price.
L'Oreal Color Riche Nail - Mauve Rendezvous
Another L'Oreal nail polish, this colour is such a rich deep shade that would be really lovely on all skin tones. I've never tried anything by L'Oreal before so I'm quite intrigued to try these polishes. In fact, the more I look at it, the more I want to buy it now....
Natural Collection Loose Powder
I've been meaning to get some loose powder for a while, but for some reason I've just never got round to it. I don't really get along with pressed powders because they dry and my skin and make it itchy, so I'm hoping that this loose powder will be better because it's from Natural Collection. It's cheap too!
Illamaqua Skin Base Foundation
My mum got me a sample pot of this a month or so ago, and I fell in love with it. It's so smooth and silky, you don't need much and it's not orange! It's a little expensive, but it is worth the money because you need so little as a time. My sample pot was about the size of a thumbnail and it lasted for over a week! The sample was in shade 3.5, but I think if I get the full size I'll get shade 2 because the 3.5 was a little dark for me and the 3 looks too yellow. I highly recommend this product, it's like putting liquid pearls on your skin.
The total for this wish list comes to...£43.46!

Candy Pink & Sunglasses
Lace shirt: Gift
Denim shirt: Topshop
Skirt: New Look
Belt: Primark
Socks: eBay
Creepers: Salt 'n' Pepper
Rings: Unbranded
Sunglasses: Unbranded
I finally have sunglasses! I've been needing to get myself a pair since the sun finally came out, and my mum kindly bought me this pair today. They have flowers on them! I find it very difficult to find glasses that suit me, but thankfully I think these ones are ok. I love this lace undertop - it was a gift from my godmother, and it creates a really flattering silhouette with a high-waisted skirt. In a stroke of
I added my bright pink belt and complemented it with Estee Lauder lipstick in 'Rubelite' - one of the 9 shades in a sample palette that was gifted to me by my grandma. I've never tried this colour before, but I really like now (and it doesn't make my teeth look yellow - bonus!). I also wore my two new bunny rings - new purchases from the May MCM Expo - for a cute touch. I love the creepers-and-lacy-socks combo, and I couldn't resist it today.
That's all for now, I hope you enjoyed!
